Wow, what a month. My friend Tommy Grueskin came down to Myrtle Beach for my birthday, and then all hell broke loose. Or should I say, Floyd broke loose. First there was Hurricane Dennis, but Dennis was nothing compared to Floyd. They called for a mandatory evacuation of Myrtle Beach as forecasters predicted that they eye would pass directly over Myrtle Beach. All banks and grocery stores were closed, buildings were boarded up, and lines of cars were backed up for miles on the city’s major east-west thoroughfares.

So I bolted to Charlotte for an evening, and showed up in Chicago to visit with some old friends attending a huge charity event put on by our good friends on VisionTek. Anyways, I’m glad that Floyd has gone, but the flooding in North Carolina is some of the worst I have seen.

• I crashed at Rick and Barb Lewis’s place in Chicago while running from Floyd
• Had a nice meal with the Burns, Darrin and DeeDee in a swanky Chicago eatery.
• Megan and Tony were also there, Megan from Gateway, Tony Visiontek
• Mike Sexton with his pregant wife Raleigh.
• We won the golf tournament Saturday morning!
• The Burns once again with Dave Russell’s wife, Kim at the Charity Ball.
• Me and John Hinds are just happy to be at the Charity Ball.
• Megan poses with Bulls star Ron Harper before finding out she didn’t win the Lexus
• John Hinds and his wife Betsy are big Bulls fans.
• Meet my new money manager Craig Guttman with Dave Russell in an after hours bar.
• Back in Myrtle Beach, Carlie and Barbie came over to inspect the damage to my house. Fortunately, none.
