Grandma Chen

My grandmother is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She is the paragon of health. In this video taken in March 2002, she is 98 years old and will be 99 in June of that year. The video captures how healthy and lucid she is. She can still play bridge which is a game of tremendous concentration. I really love my grandmother and what she she has accomplished in her life.

My First Digital Video – Christmas 2001

Here is the first video that I made in December of 2001. The reason that I began this web site is because I started messing around with digital photography in 1997, and made the progression to video in 2001. This was my first attempt at making a video and then later editing it using commonly available editing software.

The setting of the video is my parent’s house in the Washington DC area. I had purchased Grand Theft Auto for the kids, and I hope this video gives a flavor of Christmas time as the Cheng house. The video is just a tad grainy, but not bad for the technology of the day.
