    Ted’s 40th Birthday Party

When Ted Waitt throws a party, you know it is going to be a great time. I was lucky enough to be there.

    1. Hi Rob,

My goodness….I’ve been doing a bit of a hunt on the ‘net for ex-Gateway staff from Dublin as someone has organised a reunion on Feb 8th in guess where……Harry Byrne’s, Clontarf. Anyway, came across your site in doing the search and thought wow there’s a blast from the past.

I don’t know if you remember me. Myself and Pamela used to organise the night’s out and I seem to remember you playing at Dave {was it Sheppard’s – the legal council} birthday party at the apartment in the Marina, Malahide. You called me into your office the following Monday to help you get the words and chords of Ride On, by Christy Moore, much to the disgust of my manager Orla McCormack!

Well, just thought I’d drop in and say hi. Congratulations on the birth of your kiddie – perhaps there’s more than one.

      Take care,
