Cruising With The Lord

copyright 1989

G C
Going down life's lonely roads
     G D
It's easy to get lost
G D
At times
     C G
I've got my signals crossed

G C
So I stop and wonder
   G D
In which direction to go
G D
My eyes closed
    C G
I'm sure to know

    G C D
I'm cruising with the Lord
   G D C
He takes me by the hand
G C D
Cruising with the Lord
      G D C
We're going to the promised land

G C
I was lost but now I'm found
    G D
His grace abides in me
G D
Finally found
 C G
A love that sets me free

G C
Free as an eagle
   G D
To soar where I may roam
G D
Where ever I go
    C G
I'm never alone

    G C D
I'm cruising with the Lord
   G D C
He takes me by the hand
G C D
Cruising with the Lord
      G D C
We're going to the promised land

Two Timing Woman

Rob Cheng
copyright 1989

G E
She calls me on the telephone
         G E
It was a little half past eight
G E
Dinner was ready at 7:00
            A B
She say she says running late

  G E
I wasn't all that surprised
      G E
She's done this to me before
G E
Six times in the last two weeks
     A B
It's hard to ignore

        G A E
I got a two timing woman
G A E
Heart that's got to cheat
G A E
Two timing woman
A B
Lies all over me
G A E
Lies all over me
G A E
Lies all over me

G E
In the back I heard a sound
    G E
The voice of another guy
G E
She quickly says some excuse
   A B
It was another lie

G E
How long can this go on?
    G E
I'm crying every night
G E
I know the difference between
A B
Wrong and right

      G A E
And a two timing woman
G A E
Heart that's got to cheat
G A E
Two timing woman
A B
Lies all over me
G A E
Lies all over me
G A E
Lies all over me

Sleep Jesus Sleep

copyright 1989

Em Am
Born in a stack of hay
Em Am
In some tattered clothes
Em Am D
In an inn where nobody goes

Em Am
Crying in his mother's arms
Em Am
She kissed the baby's head
Em Am D
Not knowing the sacrifice ahead

   C G D
So sleep Jesus sleep
  C G D
A world is waiting at your feet
C G D
Sleep Jesus sleep

Em Am
In the western sky at night
  Em Am
A star blazed so bright
Em Am D
Telling all a savior's born that night

Em Am
Bringing gifts from near and far
Em Am
But never a toy
Em Am D
All the noise would wake the sleeping boy
   C G D
So sleep Jesus sleep
  C G D
A world is waiting at your feet
C G D
Sleep Jesus sleep

Heaven’s Bank

Rob Cheng
May 1988

  D C G
I dreamed I met the richest man in heaven
   Em Am D
Compared to him, Howard Hughes was in poverty
    G Em Am
And when I asked him how he had such treasures
   C G D
He said it's from a simple policy

   C G
He put it all in heaven's bank
Em Am
Nothing but the Lord to thank
C G D
Growing the interest day by day

   C G
Invest it in the Lord my friend
Em Am
He'll be with you in the end
    C G D
The richest man in heaven would say

D C G
To this earth, he was born a simple man
  Em Am D
A love for his God and his Son
G Em Am
And when he left this world, he didn't leave us much
       C G D
But in heaven, his riches had been won

   C G
He put it all in heaven's bank
Em Am
Nothing but the Lord to thank
C G D
Growing the interest day by day

   C G
Invest it in the Lord my friend
Em Am
He'll be with you in the end
    C G D
The richest man in heaven would say

Sometimes I just have to laugh

He does it well
    A D
But one day there'll be judgement day
