My Retirement Begins
Wheeewww Ahhhh! Happy New Year, and I really kicked off the new year in style. I journeyed back to freezing Sioux City to meet with Ted, and guess what? I retired. Well uh, let’s call it semi retired, but nevertheless, I’m not working anymore. At least for the time being.
Sorry not too many pictures this time. I’ve been mostly hanging out in Myrtle Beach, and changing my golf swing every time I go to the driving range. I had a Super Bowl party with a lot of people from the neighborhood, but I forgot to take out the camera. Maybe next time. Here are some pictures of my house, but these shots are beginning to show the limitations of my camera. I think it’s time for a new one. I think I got the time to shop around for one. 🙂
- Our very dear friends the Harveys came to visit, and we went to Liberty for dinner. Mmmmm.
- Mom and Betty after a nice dinner taken by yours truly
- The downstairs living area decorated in a rust color if you can’t tell from the photo.
- Same living room picture but better color taken without flash
- The game room – the largest room in the house. One angle showing pool table and bar.
- The other side of the game room. See the foosball table, and CNBC tracking my stocks?
- Here’s the 3rd story loft. Right now it’s just a place to hang. W/O flash
helps the colors. - Same picture without flash makes it a little sharper.
- But the loft has the potential to be something more someday.
- One of four guest bedrooms at the Cheng pad.
